INDICATIONS: IRONHORSE® is used in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in horses. It is also used in pre-anemic syndrome; it improves the performance of competition horses, as it acts as an element of cellular oxygenation. It is indicated before and after surgery, to stimulate appetite, and during the breeding season, in both stallions and mares. It can be used in the preparation of competition horses. Formula: Each mL contains: Iron sucrose equivalent to 20 mg of elemental iron, Vehicle q.s. 1 mL. DOSAGE: Foals after weaning: 20 mL.
Horses between 200 and 400 kg: 20 mL every three days (4-6 times) up to a total of 80 to 120 mL.
Horses of 400 kg or more: 20 mL daily for 10 days or 50 mL every three days for four times, up to a total of 200 mL.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Slow intravenous injection only. WARNINGS

Product for exclusive use in veterinary medicine; do not use in humans. Store at room temperature not exceeding 30°C and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. Each vial contains one dose; discard any unused portion. Its use is contraindicated when anemia is attributable to the presence of tumors. In extremely rare circumstances, anaphylactic reactions may occur; in such cases, appropriate treatment should be administered. Mixing with any other pharmaceutical product is not recommended. The only recommended solution is physiological saline. Do not administer this product to horses intended for human consumption.
